The World Cup Downhill Is the Formula 1 of bike sports. Here, the best downhill racers worldwide compete against each other and race down the bike track into the valley with more than 70 km/h.
Not only the heart of every downhiller starts beating faster with respect to this race, it is also the weekend´s highlight for the audience. Famous World Cup Downhill stars will ensure that this is going to be an unforgettable experience.
On the speedster-track of Leogang's Bikepark, the contestants have to overcome 2.6 kilometers with an altitude change of 480 meters.
Strength and a perfect technique are crucial to master this route, which is peppered with steep steps, bumpy root maps, hairpin bends, blocked trails and plenty of racy parts. In the fall of 2010, first adjustments and adaptations of this trail have been carried out under the supervision of Claudio Caluori.
